A variety of double glazing systems are available to reduce heat loss to low levels. These may include Pilkington "K" glass, double or triple sections and inert gas fill. Where double glazed units are large or reach close to ground level they must be manufactured from toughened glass.

Note: If glazing is to be applied to green oak framings the method involves a lay-on technique using a special rubber tape, silicon seal and a cover board screwed to the main sections with stainless fixings. Contact us us for details of speciality supliers.
