The major builders merchants have upwards of 1000 UK outlets each and our plan is to list all of these outlets on this site. We also plan to list smaller merchant groups as well as local builders merchants and independent suppliers.

To avoid swamping general search results with long listings of the same company name, merchants with a large number of outlets will have a group entry and from there a secondary search can be made based on location. This will make it easier for users to locate their local PlumbCentre for example - and this will be quicker than being redirected to another site and then have to find the page for local branch listings searches.
