We have created a reference section to help users locate areas of special interest on the site. These areas will fous on groups of businesses, special subject areas and material supplies. The purpose of these sub-sections is to help businesses and the general public obtain rapid access to sources of information and specialists.

1. Home Improvement for the Disabled

Special grants and support facilites are available to help people with disabilities change their homes. This section is dedicated to their needs. It features links to a number of support organisations and help lines.

2. Listed Buildings

This section concentrates on materials suppliers and trade specialists who can restore period and listed buildings to accord with Department of Environment Standards and Building Regulations.

Areas cover construction and renovation methods, approaches successfully used with Planning Officers where extensions or conversions are involved, sources of material supply and reference information relating to drawings, colours, sections, mouldings, and so forth.

All companies engaged in this sector are invited to contact us using the "CONTACT US" button and we will make arrangements to link them into it from our Directory pages.

3. London Olympics 2012

This represents one of the largest building projects ever undertaken in the capital city. Consortia have emerged to run key developments but each one has a deep supporting infrastructure. Thousands of companies will be involved in delivering this event and we hope to identify key players and their needs.

4. Masonry Building Construction

This section is dedicated to advances in materials and methods used in buildings constructed mainly of brick, blockwork and concrete - with particular emphasis on meeting new Building Regulations parts E and L covering sound and energy insulation.

5. Robust Details

This section covers Part E of the Building regulations and the measures that are needed to comply with it.
