ALTERNATIVE ENERGY DEVELOPMENT BOARD
(AEDB), 344-B, PRIME MINISTER’S SECRETARIATE,

1. AEDB intends creating manufacturing base for micro wind turbine manufacturing under its approved PC-1 in each province with an idea to promote this technology and expand its manufacturing base in all provinces. All interested manufacturers may apply highlighting their technical capability and experience in this field. Three range of wind turbines will be required as under:-
250 - 1000 WATTS
3 - 5 KILLOWATTS
10 - 35 KILLOWATTS QUANTITY 01
COMBINED QUANTITY 140
2. Short listed manufacturer from each province would be required to provide their own technical/manufacturing design for blades, generators, charge controllers, inventors, batteries, nacelle, tower, water pumping system integration and installation.
3. The main criteria for selection will be indigenous manufacturing capability, cost per watt installed and installation experience. The equipment must be supplied before May 2005 and installed before 15.06.2005 at selected sites.
4. AEDB guarantees purchase of a total 140 micro wind turbines distributed amongst provinces.
5. Bids will comprise a single package containing two envelopes. Each envelope shall contain separately the Financial Proposals and the Technical Proposal. The bidders whose Technical Proposals are accepted will be informed about the time and date of opening of Financial Proposals.
6. The bidders are required to furnish bid security equal to 5% of the bid price (returnable) in the form of bank draft.

If you are interested in this business, please send us by DHL your most competitive proposal , complete in all respects along with all relevant documents, for submission to client. Also add our 10% commission in your proposal, please note that only confirm by e-mail don't mention in your covering letter for AEDB. Your immediate response will be highly appreciated.
We need following information/documents from you for the subject project:-
1. FOB/C&F, Karachi, Pakistan, prices in US$ (Unit and Total)
2. Catalogues/Technical Data/Drawings/Test Reports/Brand Name/Standard/ISO Certificates and other certificates/Satisfaction letters from clients/Reference list (local & export sales record) etc
3. Bank Draft 5% of the total amount
4. Name of port of shipment/shipment size/weight/packing/country of origin etc
5. Warranty & Guarantee certificates/quality
assurance manuals form manufacturer etc
6. Name of bank/address/fax/telephone/e-mail/swift code/name of contact person etc for opening the L/C.
7. Authority letter from manufacturer in favour of client that M/s. Syed Bhais Pvt Ltd, 200 Ferozepur Road, Lahore, Pakistan, are authorized to submit our proposal in this tender on your behalf.
